The Central Arkansas Veteran Health System (CAVHS) Research and Development Service has a large, well-funded research and development program including studies in —

  • clinical and cooperative studies
  • rehabilitation

The CAVHS Research and Development program has full accreditation status from the Association for the Accreditation of Human Research Protection Programs, Inc. (AAHRPP) for its Human Subjects Protection Program and full accreditation status from the Association for Assessment and Accreditation of Laboratory Animal Care International (AAALAC) for its animal research program.
